The Harbour

As believers of Jesus Christ, our journey with him begins with Salvation – but it doesn’t end there. In Revelation 3:20 Jesus says to the Laodicean church, “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come to him and dine with him, and he with me.”

The Harbour

The heart of God is to know us completely and for us to truly know Him. That’s why our mission at The Harbour is: “To make wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ and equip them to function in their God given purpose for life.”

We are cultivating an environment where the Holy Spirit can come and go deep into the depths of our hearts so we can begin to encounter the Lord as He truly is and be completely transformed into the image of the living God.

This can’t happen at one service, which is why we’ve developed key meeting opportunities designed to provide a safe environment where believers can be vulnerable before the Lord, encounter the Holy Spirit, get connected to the body of Christ, and learn to walk in all that God has promised for us individually and corporately.

Success for us is to see every member:

  • Healed from their past
  • Restored into a dynamic relationship with the Lord
  • Equipped to radically live every area of their lives for Christ
  • Released with authority to fulfill their God-given purpose in this world. Our goal at The Harbour is to raise up true disciples of Jesus – not just converts.

The Harbour Model

The Harbour is a community of believers with a specific call in Fort Lauderdale and the world. Our church structure is simply an attempt to steward the precious things that Jesus Himself is doing in our midst.

A model and a method have no power in themselves to reveal Jesus Christ to men or change hearts. They are simply wineskins existing to contain what the Holy Spirit is doing in our specific local church. We desire that nothing that the Holy Spirit is doing would be lost.
